Ulta3 Matte and Cream Lipsticks!
Hi everyone!
For all you Aussies out there, I wonder if you have noticed the new Ulta3 stands at various chemists. They have a full range of beauty products now! New lines of nail polish, eye shadow and other eye and face products. To my shock, they have such a great range of lipsticks!! They have a matte and a cream collection, in which all shades are very wearable and colourful.
Here's a picture of the packaging.
So, the matte shades are in the matte packets. They are Orange Crush and Harem Pink. The shiny packet has the cream shade, which is Forever Fawn. These lipsticks remind me of the NYX ones!! I picked them up hoping that Ulta3 would be the new NYX for us Aussies...haha. It could potentially happen because their range is getting bigger and bigger! Now onto the swatches and review.
These are the colours: harem pink, orange crush and forever fawn. Now these lipsticks are $2.99 each (I think, or there abouts...I don't have a receipt) ANYWAYS SUPER affordable. You can see that Harem pink and Orange crush are the matte shades, while forever fawn has a gloss to it.
These lipsticks apply well. They are very pigmented for the price. The matte shades, however, go on a little sheer but then they can be built up by applying more lipstick. All in all the pigmentation is ok once you have enough product on your lip. For the cream one, you do not need to apply much at all and the pigmentation is very good. It feels very light and moisturising, which is unlike the matte shades. ANDD they smell nice! Yay!
In my opinion, the Cons are:
- not very good colour pay off in first application with the matte ones
- the colours aren't true to the little tub at the bottom of the lipstick
- the matte colours are a little dull
Pros:
- excellent price
- they don't smell cheap like the NYX ones, they have a sweet smell
- they have a good range of colours and finishes
- they last a long time (After these swatches and showering once that night and once the next morning I could still see the colours on my arm!)
All in all I am quite impressed with this product. I wish I swatched the testers a bit better in the store though, because I don' think I could have picked up Harem Pink and Orange Crush because they turn out to be a little dull. I think I will most certainly get some more!

Savvy by DB Geometric Nail Art + Review
Hi Everyone! So I went to my nearest Priceline this week looking for some makeup and nail deals and I came across this stand of Savvy by DB polishes. They were $2.99 each. At first I thought they would be bad quality, but I bought them anyhow because I saw some Aussie bloggers post some good reviews about them. I bought the yellow which is called Pina Colada and the gold glitter which is called Ginger Ale.
These polishes are fantastic! Such a good formula, very pigmented and has such a fast dry time. The yellow in the pictures is 3 coats, which I think this polish would need generally as the formula is a bit on the thin side, but still works great. I can't wait to get some more - any Aussies reading this should go to their nearest Priceline and stock up because these stands are getting a little empty!
Also, for you Australians, Priceline is now stocking Essence. Unlike Target, their stands are always stocked. Yay!
Now here to the pictures...
The gold in the pics have specs of purple glitter in - it is so pretty!
This is the packaging, I like it a lot. It is a round bottle with a black lid. Everything about these polishes is great.

Nicki Minaj OPI Geometric Print Tape Mani
Hi!
I haven't posted for a while. I have a lot of designs coming your way.
Here we have a geometric print made by the colours from the Nicki Minaj OPI Collection. I used Fly for the tips, Pink Friday for the middle triangle and Did it on 'em for the bottom. I decided to do an accent nail on the ring finger with Metallic 4 Life.
This design was done with tape. It was my first tape mani and it turned out ok!
I have been thinking of making a youtube tutorial channel for the designs I come up with..but there are a lot more people out there better suited haha! Maybe in the near future.

Wet n Wild Bite The Bullet with Dotted French Tip
Hiya Guys!
I was surfing youtube today to see what nail art designs I could do and I came across this one. The youtube video that I was inspired from is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5mCpkb9J2g&feature=g-hist
I used Wet n Wild Bite the Bullet for the base, with a matte topcoat on top. For the yellow I used Chi Chi Walkin on Sunshine. For the orange I used Misstaken by Missguided. For the blue/green colour I used Essence Viva La Green. Lastly for the red I used Essence Fame Fatal.
Let me know what you think! I know I love it, it's probably one of my favourtie nail arts I've done to date!
