Successful Foil Nails (Alfoil - that is!)

Hey guys!! I have an exciting post today (well, for me!). I have been wanting to try a foil manicure for ages, as in the actual decal ones. I haven't found any I really want, however. I saw that Layla Cosmetics does the mirror effect nail polish, however it is really hard to access in Australia, not to mention the large price tag. Ok onto the pictures and how I did it!

It turned out really crinkled, but hey, it's inevitable with alfoil, right?

And this is what I used! So you put clear nail polish on your clean nail (I just used a top coat), then you cut a square size piece of alfoil to fit over your nail. Then you get the scissors and score the edges (once the base coat of nail polish is dry otherwise the foil moves around). Then you liberally apply the top coat over the foil to seal it in. Next time I am going to try and get less wrinkles.

Easy! I will post a tutorial on YouTube next time I do it, I just didn't know how it will turn out this time.

Thanks for reading! :)
